| Bin Man from UK Hopes to Have His iPhone App in Apples App Store 03rd Jun 2009 |
Rob Shoesmith, a 27-year-old binman from Coventry in the UK has no experience when it comes to iPhone application development but that’s not going to stop him having his iphone app developed and selling in Apples App Store.
Rob submitted his iPhone app idea to MEDL an App Incubator development firm based in the US.
The great thing is with app incubator MEDL, there are no upfront costs to pay for the development however profits generated by the apps are split 75/25, with MEDL taking the 75%.
Over 1bn applications have been sold through the app store since Apple launched the App Store in July.
There have also been many success stories such as that of Ethan Nicholas who earned in excess of $900,000 in eight months from his app iShoot.
Let’s hope we see the app which is based around social connectivity involved in a promotional giveaway here on App Giveaway so our users can decide whether it gets the thumbs up or down!
