A young Chinese worker committed suicide after being suspected of stealing a prototype for the fourth generation iPhone.
Sun Danyong, 25, worked for Foxconn one of Apples largest manufacturers in the city of Shenzhen and was responsible for shipping the iPhone prototypes to Apple.
3 days after reporting the prototype missing the young worker jumped to his death from the 12th-floor window. There are also claims being made by the worker's former classmates that he had been beaten by security staff.
Apple has confirmed the incident, telling reporters that it was "saddened by the tragic loss of this young employee". Apple is launching a 10-week investigation into the Foxconn plant.
