It's based on the simple principle that intelligent people stop doing something when it appears to do nothing. In this case, the app asks them to rotate the iPhone, and after they rotate it the app asks them to rotate it again, and again, and again. But what they don't know is that after a certain number of rotations (which you can set from a few to keep out geniuses to a lot to keep out all but the brain dead) the app will reveal a secret that you entered into it! It's the perfect place to hide something only the stupid should know.
