New geography application by Peter Bartos and Balint Seres have published a new Iphone application, "World Puzzle" to help with geography education. The program features all 195 countries and 110 of those countries are presented in detail totalling 2100 states, counties or prefectures.
Some of the data used in the application is based on NGA's VMAP data set, which is in the public domain. NGA is the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency of the USA. No other geography program in the App Store has as detailed a map database as World Puzzle.
